What a blossomy, young girly, promise of springy hope-filled essay. I loved your pile of washed dishes. Your kitchen sink makes me feel immediately at home. And your cake makes me hungry….
Thank you! Sometimes ya just need to write a blossomy kinda post, you know? :> There is so much ELSE to write about, but I'd rather wash the dishes these days. xo
Debbie! I loved this storybelly email. For the first half of my life, I attracted those opposites, astrologically speaking trying to unify those things (speaking of opposites and astrology... would love to chat about that) until about 15 or so years ago, when all of a sudden I found myself happily surrounded by fellow May birthday'ers. To heck with opposites! This is ever so much more cozy. Yay for May! And may this May be one worthy of our love of it. xo
I love these memories of May and planting and that young mom with the drippy ice cream on her birthday after leaving a telephone booth to call home. xo
May has always felt special to me too. Mother's Day, my mother's birthday, and Memorial Day all thrown in there together--not to mention the end of school! This upcoming May, however, I have been feeling anxiety. But thanks to your very vulnerable post, I am inspired to approach the month with gusto and finish up a manuscript that has been languishing for two years. And, May the 4th be with you!
Sorry, I’ve not been able to keep up! Hoping to catch up soon. My David has been sick and having a hard time lately. But he’s slowly improving and I’m looking forward to getting back to work.❤️
You are right where you are supposed to be, with David. I am sending good-health vibes from here. I'm glad he's improving. We're here when you come in and out (and truly, the rest of us are doing the same, so no worries, please).
Every. Word.

Ah, Cyndi! I thought about all my ATL best-beloveds’ May birthdays while I wrote this newsletter. Aren’t we luck to be surrounded by one another? xoxo
